On the night of June 22, 2007, Metropolitan Detroit was treated to a free celebration of music at Family Victory Fellowship’s Jazz on the Grass event.   Jazz on the Grass was the place to be on an early summer evening in June.  Over 3,000 people sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the stylish sounds of Tim Bowman, Bamm Davis, Zamar and others.

In our third year...

In its third year, Jazz on the Grass became one of the most buzz worthy community events of the year.  As a result, it was covered by 17 media outlets generating over 2 million media impressions. Local and national businesses demonstrated their support by partnering with Jazz on the Grass through financial support, donation of their time, corporate resources and contributions of prizes and giveaways.

The Scholarship fund

Jazz on the Grass is a shining example of successful collaboration between non profit and business institutions towards creating a premiere community event while contributing to the Generation- to-Generation Scholarship Fund. 

The Generation-to-Generation College Scholarship Fund (G2G) was established to aid students in the State of Michigan with their post graduation education.  Each year G2G awards scholarships to qualifying students toward an institute of education of their choice.
